Starbuds Countdown to 4/20


We at Starbuds know 4/20 is practically Cannabis Christmas. We're gearing up for April 20, so wanted to make sure our customers were equally prepared. Here's a calendar of events scheduled across the Front Range so far:

April 20: Denver 420 Rally – Civic Center Park 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., free An event that bills itself as the world’s first and largest 420 marijuana rally and cultural festival returns to Civic Center Park. Grammy award-winning rapper 2 Chainz scheduled to headline. More info

April 20: Sky’s the Limit 4/20 Party Presented by Lucy Sky Cannabis Boutique Noon – 6:00 p.m., free 1222 Glenarm Place, Denver Featuring a Dab Bus, shuttles to/from 420 Rally, free food, live music, games & giveaways Registration/More info

April 20-23: International Church of Cannabis open house 2:00 p.m – 2:00 a.m., $10-$20 400 S. Logan St., Denver Roundtable discussions and speeches with cannabis business leaders and policymakers. Confirmed speakers include Roben Farzad, producer and host of “Full Disclosure,” a radio show aired on NPR One, and documentarian Billy Corben, director of “Square Grouper,” chronicling Miami’s pot smuggling scene of the 1970s. Confirmed comedians include Kyle Grooms, and Ramon Rivas II. More info

April 20: Flosstradamus 6:00 p.m.; $45.50 Red Rocks (18300 W. Alameda Parkway, Morrison) Right before his Ogden Theatre show, Gucci Mane will open for Flosstradamus at Red Rocks. April 20: Gucci Mane TrapGod Tour Doors open: 7:00/Show: 8:00 p.m.Ages 16 and over Tickets: $65 online, $75 door Ogden Theatre, 935 East Colfax, Denver Despite producing an illustrious body of work, this is trap rapper Gucci Mane’s first official tour of his decade-plus career. April 20: Of Montreal 8:00 p.m., $20 The Bluebird Theater, 3317 E. Colfax Ave. The wonderfully weird Of Montreal returns to Denver with a new album, “Innocence Reaches,” in tow. April 21: Thievery Corporation 8:00 p.m., $69.50 Fillmore Auditorium (1510 Clarkson) If slow and low is more your jam, check out the world rhythms of music collective Thievery Corporation. You’ve probably heard its biggest song, “Lebanese Blonde,” at some Starbucks, but the grooves are more nuanced than its heady lounge-music reputation would suggest.
